Privacy Policy
Effective date: September 16, 2026 · Policy version: 2026-09-16
1. Scope and operator
This policy explains how the RaygVaT iOS application and this policy page handle information. RaygVaT is operated by its developer (“we”, “us”, or “our”). The developer’s legal identity must be confirmed before publication of this draft.
2. Information handled by the app
RaygVaT handles information that you choose to enter or create, including:
- Resume information: name, email address, phone number, location, professional summary, LinkedIn address, employment history, education, skills, target role, and resume titles.
- Cover-letter content: titles, opening, body, closing, tone, template choice, and an optional link to a resume stored in the app.
- App preferences: nickname, selected avatar symbol, sound and haptic settings, and onboarding-completion state.
- Document metadata: locally generated identifiers and creation or modification dates used to organize your documents.
RaygVaT does not require an account and the current app does not collect your age, precise location, contacts, photos, camera or microphone recordings, advertising identifier, or payment information.
3. How the information is used
The app uses this information only to provide features you request: creating, editing, duplicating, previewing, organizing, and exporting resumes and cover letters; applying templates; suggesting skills from the app’s built-in library; and remembering your preferences.
4. Storage, accounts, and synchronization
Local by design. Resume, cover-letter, and settings records are encoded and stored in the app’s local iOS preferences container. The current app has no account system, backend API, or cloud-sync feature, and does not upload this content to a server operated by us.
Data may be included in device backups or migrations according to your iOS and Apple account settings. We do not operate or access those backups.
5. PDF export and sharing
When you export a document, RaygVaT creates a PDF in the app’s temporary storage and presents the standard iOS share sheet. Nothing is shared until you choose a destination. The person, app, or service you select may receive and process the PDF under its own privacy terms. Temporary files are managed by iOS and may remain until the operating system removes them or the app is deleted.
6. Analytics, advertising, and third parties
The reviewed app source contains no third-party analytics, crash-reporting, advertising, AI, payment, or authentication SDKs and no code that accesses the advertising identifier or performs cross-app tracking. However, the current Fastlane release configuration marks the app as using IDFA even though the reviewed runtime code does not. That release-metadata conflict must be corrected or explained before publication. Apple provides the operating system, app distribution, backup or migration features you enable, and the share sheet; Apple handles information involved in those services under its own terms.
7. Device permissions
The current RaygVaT project does not declare access to the camera, microphone, photo library, contacts, precise location, health data, notifications, or tracking. Agreeing to this policy does not grant any device permission.
8. This policy page
The HTML file itself loads no third-party fonts, scripts, images, trackers, or advertisements and does not use cookies or browser storage. If it is later hosted online, the selected hosting provider may process technical request data such as IP address, browser details, timestamps, and security logs. The provider and its retention terms must be added here before publication.
9. Retention and deletion
Your documents and preferences remain on your device until you delete individual documents, use Clear Data, or remove the app. Clear Data removes locally stored resumes, cover letters, nickname, avatar choice, sound settings, and haptic settings, then restores default settings. A small onboarding-completion flag may remain so the app can remember that onboarding was previously completed. PDFs already shared or saved outside RaygVaT must be deleted from their destination separately.
10. Your choices and requests
You can view, edit, duplicate, or delete documents inside the app and clear app data from Settings. Because the current app has no account or server database, we cannot remotely view, retrieve, correct, or delete content stored only on your device. For questions about this policy, contact the developer at [email protected]. This repository contact must be confirmed as the public privacy address before publication.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when RaygVaT’s features or data practices change. The effective date and policy version above identify this document. An updated hosted page does not by itself force existing users to agree again; any renewed-consent flow must also be implemented in the app.
Selecting Agree & Continue acknowledges that you have had an opportunity to read this policy. It does not authorize tracking, grant device permissions, or share your documents. The iOS app—not this web page—records any native consent state after validating the message and policy version.
